As families and individuals evolve and transition to new stages of life, our Jewish community and shared values can serve as an invaluable source of comfort and inspiration.
From new to the neighborhood to new parents to newly retired and everything in between, we offer services and programs designed to ease these transitions.

The ShalomBaby Program:
- - Hand delivers “Welcome to Our World” bags to new parents parenting information and Jewish resources.
- - Connects new parents through brunchs, listservs, and playdates.

The ShalomDC Program:
- -Sends welcome baskets to new Jewish residents of the Greater Washington DC area. The baskets offer goodies  and community information.
- -Connects newcomers with the Jewish community through social events, invitations to Shabbat and Holiday meals.
- -Is open to anyone who has moved to the area within the last 12 months.

- - Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse (JCADA)
JCADA seeks to break the cycle of domestic violence through education, prevention and support programming. - - Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA)
JSSA provides counseling, educational and career services, in-home support, hospice and nursing care and social services to families and individuals facing a range of personal challenges. - - Jewish Council on Aging (JCA)
JCA offers seniors the tools they need to make informed decisions, socialize and care for their health. Services include information resources, transportation, social programs and courses, and skills development.
