Shalom Baby

Welcoming families into the Northern Virginia Jewish community for more than eight years, Shalom Baby is a volunteer-run program committed to reaching out to Jewish families with new children and welcoming them into the Northern Virginia Jewish community.
Maybe your family has recently grown by one, or your friends are just about to welcome a little one into their lives. Shalom Baby welcomes parents, their newborns and newly adopted children into the Greater Washington Jewish community. Shalom Baby, together with Growing Jewish Families hosts family networking events, welcome brunches, volunteer orientations, play dates, and offers a listserve designed to help connect you to the Jewish community in your own backyard.
If you are a new parent or you would like to submit the name of a new family, to receive a Shalom Baby gift bag, please click here and a volunteer will be in touch with you.
This is a wonderful way for you to meet new people, make new friends and learn about your Jewish community and the resources available for you. Please contact Beth Felsen (703) 537-3012 or BethF@jccnv.org with questions or to receive additional information.
