Young Professionals

img_1568.jpgIn collaboration with many organizations and social groups, we are creating a network of young professionals from throughout Northern Virginia.  All groups can be found on Facebook.  While many programs and events are done together as a large group, each organization hosts their own programs as well and are run by volunteers.

Next Gen serves as an entry point for young adults to The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington; a chance to get connected, learn, and explore fun and exciting opportunities for community leadership and philanthropy.

Birthright Israel NEXT  whether you just got back from a Taglit-Birthright Israel Trip or have been back for years, Birthright Israel NEXT has something for you! Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming social, educational, and cultural events. Have an idea for a program? Let us know and we will help you plan it.

EntryPointDC GesherCity  bridges young adults to the Greater Washington Jewish Community by providing personal networks and access to information and resources. EntryPointDC GesherCity is a volunteer-driven, free service organization, bridging young adults ages 21-35 to the DC area Jewish community through personal networks, information access and resources. Check out the Arlington and Fairfax Clusters!

JNet-Jewish Social Network- Northern Virginia’s Fresh, new network for 21-35 year old Jewish men and women. Locations for events will be varried. jnetva@gmail.com

Northern Virginia Young Jewish Professionals (NOVA-YJP) is a social group for young Jewish professionals (22-29) in Northern Virginia. Some of our events include dinners, trivia, BBQ, Karaoke, and happy hours. Contact Dan Waxman at dewaxman18@gmail.com if you are interested in joining!

 Young Professionals’ Kesher ,(YPK) is a community for Jewish singles and couples in their 20s and 30s that fosters Jewish identity, socializing, and networking in an welcoming, non-denominational environment. YPK offers a variety of social, religious and volunteer events in the Washington, DC area throughout the year.

From 5 to 5 is a volunteer-run group geared towards DC-area young Jewish adults who are 35-45 years old. This is a group for singles, couples, marrieds, parents–anyone who wants to meet new people and make new friends! Please contact Lauren, lcranman@hotmail.com

Bike and Brunch We are a group of mostly single Jewish bicyclists from Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. We bicycle every Sunday from April through November, and we brunch afterwards! We also have picnics, happy hours, outings and weekend trips. We are a social club that is all volunteer run! Hope you will join us!
