Order S'chach for Your Sukkah!
Once again, Gesher Jewish Day School will be selling fresh-cut, evergreen S'chach for Succos. The evergreen is a leafy cedar – no pine needles – and is trucked in from Michigan. It has proven itself to stay green throughout Succos and beyond. It is also considered a nature bee repellant. The cost is $22 per bale. Consistent with prior years, we will not be able to deliver except for larger orders and there will be a $25 fee for delivery. Instead, we will have central pick up locations in (1) White Oak, Maryland , (2) Northern Virginia, and (3) Washington, DC.We are looking into adding a fourth location in Potomac, MD if the demand is significant.
This way we can ensure that the S'cach remains fresh. A bale is 20 lbs. Four or five bales are recommended for an 8' x 8' sukkah. All proceeds support the school.

Order deadline: Monday, October 3
Pickup date: Sunday, October 9 and thereafter by appointment. Monday, October 10 is Columbus Day, so there will likely be some flexibility with pick-up availability.
